Interest group lifelong learning established in the European Parliament: The European office for catholic youth work and adult learning is part of the working group

On the 16th of April we had the first meeting of the interest group on lifelong learning. This is an informal group of MEPs who are interested in working with stakeholders in order to promote a certain subject. The chair of the group is Sirpa Pietikäinen from Finland (EPP), and at this first meeting, Julie Ward from the UK (S & D) participated and the following MEPs were represented by their assistants: Krystyna Łybacka (S & D, former Education Minister of Poland), Claude Rolin (EPP, Belgium), Milan Zver (Slovenia, EPP), MEP István Ujhelyi (Hungary, S&D). EAEA is coordinating this group together with EUCIS LLL.The European office for catholic youth work and adult education is part of the working group to promote the the interests of catholic youth and adult learners.
