EPALE - New ePlatform for Adult Learning
- Category: News
The European Commission is currently setting up EPALE, the multilingual Electronic Platform for Adult Learning in Europe to support the development and quality of adult learning in Europe. Stakeholders are invited to shape this platform via an online survey.
EPALE targets adult education stakeholders (providers, teachers, trainers, policy-makers, media, researchers, etc.).
The platform is designed to become the reference point on adult learning in Europe, and should become essential to any professional in the field. Tools that will be available include collaborative networking space, calendar of events and courses, a library of high quality educational and policy resources, discussion groups, etc.
To ensure that EPALE answers the needs of the adult learning community as closely as possible, the EC is launching an online survey until 15 May 2014.
