The Education and Culture Committee in the European Parliament (CULT) deals with an own initiative report, that is a request to the European Commission to legislate, to promote entrepreneurship among young people. Although the European Office for Catholic Youth and Adult Education supports this objective, but calls also for the holistic approach to education and sees no EU competence in Erasmus + program to come up with curriculum objectives for non-formal and informal education as suggested by the rapporteur of this report.
These amendments have been adopted as well as other 225 amendments in the education and culture committee. In plenary the vote is expected for September.
